  • Congratulations to the Semester 1 Class Leaders for their enthusiastic participation and contributions to our SRC Meetings!!
  • In week 1 of next term, all classes will revisit the role of  class leader and SRC and students will vote for their Semester 2 Class Leaders.

         Mr Rodrigues will announce the class leaders at Monday morning gathering                   of week 2 and present SRC badges.

  • We will have our first SRC meeting in week 2 
  • Semester 1 SRC are very welcome to continue to attend and support at SRC meetings. SRC meetings are open to students that would like to attend and have a voice in our school.

 

On a scale of 1-10, how has our school  been  learning this week? 

Prep AD 10 we had our 100 days of Prep, writing about what we would bring to the moon

Prep SC 10 we are learning about nonfiction and fiction stories 

1/2 KT 9 finishing our narratives, subtraction

1/2 DG 9 we are making a prop for our narrative story

1/2 EA 9 writing our recounts and performing arts, sport

3/4 TR 9 factual recounts and maths, 5 minute frenzy

3/4 ZC 8 science, art and inquiry, Captain Cook and his voyage

3/4 VA 8 maths, angles flower drawing 

5/6 BOC 8 literacy and new vocab, finishing our project

5/6 FA 8 planning and writing our poems

5/6JJ 9 reading our class novel, Free Diving, maths, decimals   

 

On a scale of 1-10, how has our school  been  working together this week?

Prep AD 8 some people need reminding about doing their work and listening

Prep SC 10 we help each other to solve problems

1/2 KT 6 we were a bit chatty and needed reminding about expectations because Miss Kim was away , crossing our legs on the floor

1/2 DG 8 strikes for calling out and remembering to put our hands up

1/2 EA we need to be reminded to listen, putting bags away in our lockers

3/4 TR 10 really improved in our listening skills

3/4 ZC 8 helping each other and being great kinds

3/4 VA 8 we are working well and Ms Violet is happy

5/6 BOC 10 no arguments and working together

5/6 FA 9 finishing off learning tasks, working well while Mr A was away 

5/6JJ 10 working really well and sharing our presentations 

 

Learning and events at Trinity this week:

  • IGNATIUS extra play for winning House points in term 2 on Monday Congratulations to Ignatius House
  • BOITE choir on Wednesday
  • Early assembly on Friday - at 1.15
  • Last day of term 2 on Friday - finish at 1.45

Breaking sandpit toys and keeping the sand in the area clean

 

Year 3/4

 

New sandpit  toys were purchased this term for all to enjoy. It is disappointing to see many broken toys left in the sandpit.

If you see anyone not using equipment and toys properly please tell a teacher on yard duty

Keep the downstairs toilets clean and remember to flush!!all

Please tell a teacher or the office.

Everyone is responsible for this area

 

 

 

Suggestions from the SRC

Yes!!  The cubby house will be on the adventure playground -   We will move the cubby house in the playground next term. 

 

Karaoke Club next term - anyone interested?

Disney Club by Anderson TBC next term (need a teacher for this Club)

 

Safety issues from the SRC

  • Slippery and wet play equipment
  • Moving safely on the yard especially on the leaves
