Principal's Message
From the Desk of Kathy Nott - Term 2, Week 8
Good afternoon, Parents/Carers,
Parent/Teacher Interviews
If you have indicated that you wish to see your child's teacher for a Parent/Teacher Interview, you should now have been allocated a date and time by your child's teacher. If you are yet to return your note, please return as soon as possible as interviews will be held from next week. If you have not been given a date and time, please contact the school office.
Small Schools Soccer Knockout
Congratulations to our school soccer team who competed against Boggabri in the Small Schools Soccer Knock Out Competition last Friday. Our team played extremely well and displayed great teamwork. Our team is through to the next round and will play Barraba. Well done team and to their coach Mr Wilcox.
School Assembly
We will be holding our last School Assembly for Term 2 in the School Hall this Friday, 20th June at 2:10pm. Our K/1B class will be performing. All welcome to attend.
School Athletics Carnival
Our annual School Athletics Carnival will be held next Friday, 27th June at David Taylor Oval. Notes for participation were sent out earlier this term. Please ensure your child's note is returned so they can participate in this event. Please note this is a whole school event. Please ensure your child is at the oval by 9:00am as this is a normal school day. We encourage all parents/caregivers to attend on the day to cheer on our students. The P&C will be holding a canteen on the day. If you wish to take your child home early, please ensure you see the classroom teacher so they can be marked off for the day. Students who catch the bus will be dropped off and collected from the oval. We encourage our students to wear their house colours or sports uniform. Oxley - Red, Macquarie - Green and Wentworth - Yellow. In the unfortunate event of wet weather please look to Facebook for updates. Back up date for the carnival for wet weather will be Tuesday, 1st July.
