Fernbank Fun

In week 6, Polly (Yr 11) hosted Eva (Yr 9) & some day girls in Fernbank to make jelly, sweet treats and chocolate coated strawberries for a Gurney bake sale.

Fernbank has acquired some new musicians in Year 11. Zanna and Poppy have both started some guitar lessons. Both have been practising and rumour has it a performance might be on the cards once their set list is complete.

Year 12 girls Lani and Hayley attended the Year 12 Yalari Ski Trip to Thredbo over the last weekend. This trip is a combination of the Year 12 Graduation Ceremony and a celebration of their achievements to have gone through 6 years of Boarding while on a Yalari Scholarship.

Prep

Year 8 and 9 have been full steam ahead this week with school work! Year 8 have been working diligently on a book review and poetry analysis and seeking help from staff and tutors. Year 9 are being proactive studying for their maths test in Week 8, but they also have an English formative keeping them busy.
