Year 6 preparation for SPRING MARKET.

Year Six students are deep into their Economics and Business unit, linking English, Financial Maths, Critical and Creative Thinking, and Personal and Social Learning. Can you believe that Spring Market is only 2 WEEKS AWAY! Our wonderful Year 6 entrepreneurs are busy planning and developing their products to sell.

They have begun work at the end of last term developing their knowledge about how to market a product, in particular marketing strategies. Work this term has been analysing advertising, writing short advertisements that impact their audience and further developing their mathematical proficiencies ready to handle money and ultimately make a profit towards school fundraising!

Some of the items that are being sold and/or available services this year at the market are:

slime
tattoos

keyrings
jewellery
bracelets
arm paint
hairstyles
stress balls
loombands
painted rocks
various games
reusable water bombs.

The Spring Market is for the student, by the students. We love having family members come and help us for this exciting day. If you can help us on Friday 25th October any time from 9am – 1pm, please email Mr Wait via Sentral and let him know what time you are available. You will receive an email the week of Spring Market confirming where you will be helping.
