2022 VGSA 

The 2022 Victorian Government Schools Agreement Page in the Staff Bulletin has been introduced to help staff understand the new agreement.  

Consultative Committee 

The next Consultative Committee Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 9 October 

 

2024 Members of the Consultation Committee:

  • Corinne Pupillo - Convenor
  • Stephanie Torchia   (Principal’s Nominee)
  • Juri Graco- Ilves  & Amanda Hollway (Teacher Rep x 2)
  • Mary Butros  (AEU - Teacher Rep)  
  • Irene Gacovski  - (AEU Rep ES) 
  • Irene Gacovski & Tanya Ascenzo- (Education Support Rep x 2) 
  • Michelle McMaster - (Admin/Therapy Rep)

Members may represent 2 workgroups, for example, be representative of both AEU and ES/teacher etc.

Nomination and voting by work groups takes place in February each year.

Members’ term on the committee extends for 12 months, from the beginning of March until the end of the following February.

Term 3 -  AEU Implementation 

AEU representative

• Continue to facilitate sub-branch and consultative committee discussions about theprogram, staffing and work arrangements, including workload and time in lieu, for thefollowing year. Provide final advice to the principal through the consultative committee representative(s).

• Ensure that all staff are advised by the principal by the end of November of the long-term planning decisions to apply at the school for the following year. Any grievances over planning decisions must be lodged no later than five days after advice is provided.

 

AEU consultative committee representative

• Continue consultative committee discussions about the program, staffing and work arrangements, including workload, for the following year. Discuss these with the subbranch and provide final advice to principal.

• Ensure that the allocation of organisational duties is subject to consultation and includethe use of a selection panel where necessary.

 

Principal

• Table and explain indicative SRP toconsultative committee and all staff.

• Use the agreed consultative arrangementsto discuss long-term planning, including workforce planning workload and time in lieufor the following year.

• Ensure that the allocation of organisational duties is subject to consultation and include the use of a selection panel where necessary.

• Last week of November: must advise staff in writing of long-term planning decisions toapply at the school the following year.
