SWAN HILL FIELD & GAME SCHOOL SHOOT

On Monday 2nd September, fifteen very keen shooting students from our College travelled to the Swan Hill Field & Game shooting range at Mellool. Waiting for them were 24 testing targets that were made even more testing by the extremely windy conditions.

The day consisted of two rounds of twelve single barrel targets which were adjusted slightly at the end of the first round. Students who performed well included Charli Lovell who was 1st in Senior Girls with 17/24. Natalia Barnes was 3rd in Junior Girls with 5/24 and Isaiah Blair, who survived a shoot off to win Junior Boys with a score of 13/24. Other shooters who shot well on the day included Phillip Hampson 14/24, Nick Oliver 11/24 and Lachlan Jones 10/24.
