LITTLE DESERT ATHLETICS

Yesterday we had 14 grade 3, 4, 5 & 6 students travel to North Park Stawell for the Little Desert Athletics where they competed against students from as far away as Edenhope, Hopetoun and Kaniva! All the students did their absolute best in some windy conditions and we now have 10 students progressing to the Greater Western athletics in term 4!

Some of our outstanding results were:

• Mason - 2nd hurdles
• Eden - 3rd 800m, 1st 100m & 1st relay
• Gracie - 2nd 1500m, 2nd hurdles & 1st relay
• April - 1st shot put, 3rd discus & 1st relay
• Ruby - 2nd 800m & 1st relay
• Henry - 2nd shot put
• Steph - 2nd shot put & 2nd 100m
• Eadie - 3rd 800m
• Kensi - 1st high jump
• Kobe - 1st triple jump & 1st long jump

Huge congratulations to all the students! Thanks to all the parents who came along and to Miss Lotus for hanging out with the kids for the day!
