I hope all the mums, grandmothers, and special and significant others had a very Happy Mother’s Day on Sunday. I hope you were all spoilt by your child/children and loved ones with thoughtful words and acts of love. My thoughts were also with those who have lost their specials mums, grandmothers or significant others over the last few years.

Naplan Results

We are excited to share some fantastic news about our initial NAPLAN. They reflect the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of our incredible students and staff. I am very proud of our students results and they confirm the

high-quality teaching programs that we have to support the learning of all students.

Behind every student's success stands a dedicated team of parents, educators, and the entire TPS community. Your support and guidance have played a crucial role in shaping our students' achievements. Thank-you!

I look forward to sharing more details of these when the formal results are received later this year.

2024 Student Attitudes to School Survey

We value student voice at TPS as a means to improving student engagement, wellbeing and quality instruction and are conducting a survey to find out what your child thinks of their school.

The Attitudes to School Survey (AtoSS) is an annual student survey offered by the Department of Education to assist schools to gain an understanding of students’ perceptions and experience of school. Students in year 4 ,5 and 6 will be asked about their thoughts and feelings in relation to their school, their learning, peer relationships, resilience, bullying, health and wellbeing, physical activity, and life in general.

This year, the AtoSS will be conducted in the next few weeks.  If your child is in Year 4, 5 or 6 there will be more an information through Compass in the coming week.

Open Night – Math Night

Tomorrow we have our annual Math Open Night for school families. The night is a great opportunity for families to come together to participate in fun maths activities. We hope to see all of our families in attendance.  Classrooms will be open with our teachers offering lots of maths games, fun and educational experiences and of course our passport prizes at the conclusion of the evening.  The evening begins at 5.15 pm in the school hall.
