Powerful Verbs
During the first few weeks of term, students have explored how writers use verbs to improve sentences. Students have discovered there are many vivid verbs in the English language, and have experimented using them in their own writing.
We have encouraged Year 3 students to share their new vocabulary knowledge at home and hope you may have heard your child using some new and sophisticated words at the dinner table!
