Prep in Pajamas Faith Night
Last week our Prep families gathered together in faith to explore the meaning of prayer in the Catholic Faith and how prayer can become a part of our daily lives. Thank you to all the families that joined us and to Bridie and Mandi for leading the night and Maria and Cathy for their support.
Year 1/2 Story night
We look forward to celebrating Year 1/2 Story night were we will explore belonging to God’s Family through the sacrament of Baptism.
St James Mini Vinnies
As part of our Social Justice initiatives at St James, we continue to challenge our students to SEE!, THINK!, DO! and REFLECT! on the change they can make in our world.
This year we continue to support St Vincent De Paul through Mini Vinnies and bring awareness and support of Social Justice issues within ours and the wider community. This week the Youth Engagement Team spoke to our Year 5/6 students about the important role we play here at St James and how our contritions do make a difference.
St Vincent De Paul Winter Appeal
This term the St James Community will once again be supporting the St Vincent De Paul Winter Appeal. Each year our community responds to the call to support those in our community that are the most vulnerable.
A donation box will be placed in each classroom next week and our wonderful
Year 6 Social Justice Leaders will be coming around to each class and sharing the following information with students about what to bring.
