Respect within the Community

In the Lutheran community, we demonstrate our commitment to one of our key values, Respect, through Restorative Practices, highlighting the fundamental importance of respectful relationships.

As parents and staff, we recognise the significance of mutual respect and play a key role in modelling this for our students. When frustrations arise, we model the behaviour we expect from our students. When we show respect for each other, even in challenging moments, we are demonstrating forgiveness and empathy, and an appreciation of each other that is embedded in Restorative Practices. These principles guide us in resolving conflicts and nurturing a culture of accountability and compassion within our community.

Embracing Restorative Practices emphasises the foundational significance of respect in our interactions, fostering an environment where every individual feels valued and heard, promoting a sense of belonging and unity. As we prioritise respect, we empower our students to cultivate meaningful connections and contribute positively to the Lutheran ethos of care and inclusivity. I would like to thank you all for showing respect to each other and reinforcing this key message to our students.

2023 Annual Report

Good News Lutheran College like all schools must provide an annual report to be published on the State Register. The Education and Training Reform Regulations 2017 state that a registered school must make information concerning its performance available to the school community at least once a year.

It is my pleasure to share with you the GNLC Annual Report for 2023. Should you have any questions regarding matters contained in the report, please contact the College to speak with a member of the College Leadership team.
