Deputy Principal

Dear Families,

We have had a busy and very intersting week with our school photos, Science Incursions and a beautiful start to our 'Family' week focus.

Primier's Reading Challenge

The Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge is now open and Sacred Heart Primary School is excited to be participating. The challenge promotes reading for literacy development. It's not a personal goal for children to read a set number of books by September 6, 2024. The Foundation to Year 2 students aim for 30 books, while Year 3 to Year 10 students target 15.

The challenge earns a certificate signed by the Premier. Parent notes with more details of the challenge went home with students this week. If you would like your child to participate in the challenge, can you please return the note byMonday 13 th May to the school office or via email. Then your child will be registered to participate in the challenge.

School Photos

Our school photos went really well, and everyone looked great with their big smiles!

Just a reminder that ordering can only be done online. Instructions were sent home with students last week. If you need help, feel free to ask!

Interschool Sport

Tomorrow, students will be playing interschool sports at school against Preston Primary. They have been practicing netball and soccer during playtime and lunchtime.

Enjoy the game!

Have a wondeful week!

Antoniette
