SuniTafe Tours - VETDSS Course

All the Year 9 Pathway classes have visited our local SuniTafe for a short tour around the campus looking at the engineering, automotive, and childcare sectors. VETDSS courses are a pathway option for students to learn real life skills through hands-on experiences. 

SuniTafe will also be at our Subject Expo on May 22nd to discuss the 2025 courses they will be offering. 

Pathways - 2025 Subject Selection Planning Sessions

The Pathways team will be visiting all Year 8 - 11 classes over the next two weeks to begin the 2025 Subject selection process. Students will have the requirements explained and a list of the options and electives on offer for 2025. The 2025 Curriculum Handbook which provides extensive information about the curriculum and subject options will be available online before the Subject Expo on 22nd May.

Students will be provided with a planning sheet to bring home and discuss further with their parents or guardians. This draft should be also taken to the Subject Expo where students can discuss subjects they are considering in more detail with relevant teachers and VET subject providers. Following the Subject Expo, students are welcome to visit Pathways if more individualised assistance is needed.

Student subject selections are to be completed online by Wednesday 12th June 2025.

It may not always be possible to give a student all their preferred elective choices. The number of students choosing a subject, staffing, timetabling and the availability of facilities will all impact the subjects which will run in 2025.
