Christmas time is here!!

I’m sure you’re all very excited to be heading on your holidays for this festive season. I know you will agree that your children deserve a well-earned break from school – they have been superstars this year.

Christmas Holidays we break for six weeks & students return:

• February 1st:  Y1-6 School students return
• February 6th:  Kindergarten students begin
• Canteen returns on Friday 2nd February

If you are going away, perhaps somewhere cooler or perhaps going to the dam or the beach I would like to wish you safe travels and good fortune of the festive period.

To my volunteers that have helped me through on Fridays in the canteen, thank you  so very much for generously volunteering your time at St Joeys. Your willingness to give your time and service is greatly appreciated. Your support of St Joeys canteen allows us to continue to provide an efficient service to our school community

I will conclude my Christmas message for 2023 by offering the St Joseph's community my very best wishes for the festive season. I sincerely hope you all have an opportunity to relax over Christmas, enjoy the festivities of the New Year and spend quality time with loved ones. I look forward to welcoming new and past volunteers into the canteen during 2024.

VOLUNTEERS

We would like to continue welcoming our parents/guardians/caregivers into the canteen to assist with the preparation for morning tea and lunches. 

Our canteen operates every Friday and has a variety of options for our students and staff to choose from. We welcome you to volunteer on a Friday to assist with preparation and delivery of Morning Tea and Lunches from 10am through until 1.15pm. 

If you can only spare 1 or 2 hours of your Friday we understand everyone gets very busy and every minute will help.
