RESIDENTIAL

It certainly has been quiet around the residence this week with only the Year 10 students left onsite.

It is certainly very exciting speaking with the students about work experience, where they are off to and what they are undertaking.  For many of them, it is what they are interested in and for those who are not sure, it is a valuable opportunity to try something out.

We have lots of students who gain employment out of their work experience opportunity when they finish school. The College name certainly opens doors for our young people and it is then up to them to set the standard that they wish to live by.

Year 10 Boarders' Dinner

Students and staff had a lovely night at the Crooked Carrot at Myalup last night. The venue is a great setting, the food was amazing and from all reports, the students had a wonderful evening.

Last Weekend's Activities

Last weekend staff and students travelled to Busselton and played some golf at the Par 3 Mini Golf which was followed by a stop at the foreshore before heading back to the College.

Thank you to our Kitchen Staff

Can I just say a great big thank you to all the staff in the kitchen area who have gone above and beyond over the last couple of weeks to ensure that the students have been well-fed, even though we have had our challenges with illness and covering rosters when staff have been away. Thanks to everyone who assisted with service; it was a job well done and from the outside, no one would have noticed.
