This award goes to Thea for showing the HEART value of Excellence this week. In our persuasive writing unit, Thea has been able to clearly state her opinion and provide reasons to support it. Congratulations on writing a convincing persuasive piece Thea, keep it up!
Congratulations to Alice on a fantastic start to Scoresby Primary School. Alice has made great progress during class discussions by participating and sharing her thoughts and ideas with her classmates. It has also been wonderful to see you widen your friendship circle. Well done Alice.

This week, Madison confidently presented her learning about The Democratic Republic of the Congo to the class. She was able to speak clearly about each slide. Congratulations Madison, you should be very proud!
This award goes to Ali for the amazing procedure he wrote for how to check his blood. Ali listed all of the materials he needed. With assistance he was able to write all of the steps that he follows when completing his blood test. Great work Ali!
This award goes to Emily for the presentation she gave our class about the African country, Nigeria. Emily researched information about Nigeria and presented this in a slideshow. She spoke clearly and at a pace that was easy to listen to. Emily, it is wonderful to see your confidence growing when speaking to an audience.
Congratulations on your efforts at camp last week Russell. You tested yourself on the High Wire day one, and this set you up for the rest of the camp. You became comfortable being uncomfortable. You should be proud of your efforts.
Congratulations to Noah for demonstrating the HEART Value of Excellence in everything he has achieved this week. From picking up rubbish of his own accord, to writing a really descriptive reflection of his week, Noah has shown that he is most definitely ready for Year 6. Well done Noah! I am so proud to be your teacher!
This award goes to Lilly for her outstanding efforts at camp last week. Lilly stepped out of her comfort zone multiple times and tried many of the different activities. She followed the camp’s motto of ‘To Get Comfortable Being Uncomfortable’ to face her fears. Lilly, I am so proud of you and your efforts. Keep up the wonderful work!
