Parents and Friends 

That’s a wrap! A huge thankyou from the Parents & Friends Committee for your unwavering support this year. We are super grateful for your time attending or volunteering at events; for your fundraising donations but especially the appreciative comments or smiles in the school yard. It goes a long way, and we only do what we do because you love it!

2023 sure was action packed. We danced in sparkly outfits; we strained our brains trivia night, we munched on popcorn with a movie under the stars, and there were plenty of laughs at the Golf Club. Besides our social events, this year we also:

• Got lunch orders up and running with Groove
• Replaced the basketball towers
• Helped out the sustainably crew with the recycling station set up. 
• Wrote and won a $5k community grant to concrete the school entrance outside STEM room (happening in 2024)
• Organised a coffee van on Draper St for International Teacher’s Day
• Paid for the Grade 6’s tickets to their upcoming graduation at Oakdene (very special and exciting!)
• Supported the Art Show, School Disco and Apple Fair
• Helped set up the new sponsorship packages for OGPS generating over $20k
