Primary School visits  - Instrumental music 2024

Over the last three weeks, Miss McGann, the brass and woodwind teacher, has been visiting the Red Cliffs Secondary College feeder schools to introduce the grade 6 students to some of the musical instruments they can play next year at Red Cliffs Secondary College. 

All the students were invited to try playing the flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and trombone. There were a few strange honks, but some great sounds as well. The grade 6 students asked some great questions and were very enthusiastic about the music possibilities open to them at high school. Some students have even signed up to do a few head-start lessons to master the basics of their instruments before 2024! 

Any existing Red Cliffs Secondary College student who is interested in learning a musical instrument next year is encouraged to fill out the Expression of Interest form that can be found on Compass.
