Fang Colour Run

Wow what a fun (and messy!) day the Colour Fang run turned out to be!!

A HUGE thank you to all the volunteers who ran the day and helped with the clean up as well.

And a thank you to Mr Stead for agreeing to be the main prize – being covered in slime by a very well deserving highest fundraiser, Ellie X in Prep J.

Prep J raised the most money as a class and took out the honour of being the first class through the colour course.

It was absolutely fantastic to see all the kids getting into the spirit with so many squeals of delight and laughter along the way. From running through the coloured powder, to the coloured water guns, to the spider web cave and hands into the slime bucks full of Halloween surprises! You know it’s a success when kids from every year level ask for it to become a regular event on the calendar!

The generosity of our community has been absolutely wonderful to see, with the school raising $9,500 after costs. The proceeds of the run will be going towards the replacement of 25 Chromebooks and we are speaking with the STEM teachers to see what further technology we can assist with purchasing for all students to use in their STEM classes.

Ladies Lunch

Our annual ladies lunch was another fabulous day of catching up with old friends and making lots of new ones!

And it was wonderful to meet some mums joining St Augustine’s in 2024.

2024 Parent Fundraising & Social Committee

We have a number of current committee members leaving the committee at the end of this year. We therefore dearly need some new members in 2024.

The committee is an integral part of the school community, not just for raising much needed funds for the students and school grounds but also, and perhaps more importantly, for the bringing together of our school families and building the community feel we all love about our little school.

We can’t continue to put on events in 2024 without a full committee so please don’t think ‘someone else will do it’ as they may not!

Feel free to reach out to any of the current committee members if you’d like to know more about what we do or register your interest with Catherine in the office.
