Creating Art

Greetings from the art space! 

Great things are happening as students discover different styles of making art and experimenting with line and texture in their work.  

Prep, 1s, and 2s have been looking at the illustrations of Anna Walker in the picture book, All Through the Year, written by Jane Godwin, creating texta bleed art with collage. They also created dye/crayon resist artworks inspired by Van Gogh.

The year 3/4s and 5/6s have been looking at the doodle art work of a British artist called Mr. Doodle. They have been creating their own original shapes and creatures and characters to build their own doodle art works. These are still works in progress but we have a few to share.
