Study Cybersecurity at La Trobe
La Trobe's Bachelor of Cybersecurity offers you the opportunity to step into the rapidly
evolving digital world of cybersecurity. You’ll build a highly specialised technical skill-set
as you learn about the history of hacking, build your coding expertise, and access
industry-based projects and mentoring opportunities with major corporations.
Graduates of this course could work across a range of industries, including technology,
communications, education, finance, government, defence, healthcare, and energy and
resources. Possible roles include:
• Intrusion Analyst/Vulnerability Assessor
• Cyber Threat analyst
• Vulnerability Researcher/Cybersecurity Advisor
• Malware Analyst

Nexus Program
A revolutionary path into secondary teaching - the Nexus Program provides a first of its kind pathway into secondary teaching.
Nexus supports aspiring teachers to earn a qualification while working in schools that need them most, with undergraduate and postgraduate study options available.
The Nexus program is funded by the Commonwealth and supported by the Victorian and NSW governments.
Nexus students take part in La Trobe’s eighteen-month accelerated or two-year Master of Teaching (Secondary) or Master of Teaching (Primary), whilst undertaking paid employment in schools (part-time in first year and full-time in second year). On top of their salary, Nexus students also benefit from up to $14,900 in financial support.
