What we did last weekend

Last weekend, twelve students joined Reso supervisors Kryssie, Nicole and Brenton on a trip to Mandurah for a surfing lesson. Staff were impressed with the students' attitude,  jumping in and giving it a go.

The water was blue, the waves were rolling and the sun was shining. What more could you want?

The surfing lesson was followed by a swim in the waves and lunch at the beach.  Followed by a stop at Halls Head Shopping Centre, where a few of the boys scored some great op-shop finds.

Everyone had a great time enjoying the experience and are keen to do it again. Ian, from Mandurah Surf Lessons was impressed with our students and afterwards raved about how great they were in representing the College. This is amazing feedback and all students involved should be very proud.

On Saturday night students were offered the chance to go bowling in Bunbury, but were tired after the big day and opted to watch the Minions Movie on the big screen in the gym instead. We set up the couches, made popcorn and settled in for a night at the movies.

Sunday morning saw a few students went to Treendale to get a few things and visit Bunnings.

Thank you

When staff put a lot of work and effort into planning weekends,  it's always great when students get involved making it a very enjoyable time for everyone. Thank you all for being exceptional this weekend.

Graduation - Full Class Uniform

This is a reminder that all students must be in full class uniform including the College tie for next Friday's Graduation.

Last night staff checked that students had their ties and found that most students did, which is fantastic. If you do not currently have a tie, could you please ensure you get one by next week. Thank you for your cooperation.

Halloween

Next Tuesday is Halloween at the College where we will have a fun night to mark the occasion. Well done to the student councillors who in conjunction with the kitchen staff have taken on organising this event.

Japanese Visitors

We will welcome our Japanese visitors next week to spend time with us all. We have fitted them in around our other students as best we could, however we did need to ask two boys to move their room further up their dorm so we could accommodate everyone. Thanks, boys for your assistance and understanding.
