Treendale Primary School Visit

On Wednesday,  64 students and staff from Treendale Primary School visited the College as part of their learning to review and look at food and fibre production. They were broken into three groups and rotated through the Dairy, Sheep and Horticulture sections over the day.

It was great to see our students interacting and looking after the primary school students when their times combined at recess and lunchtime around the main campus.

A special thanks to the students and staff who assisted with the organisation and the tours. The feedback from Treendale Primary School was extremely positive. Well done!

Brunswick Show

This weekend is the Brunswick Show and the College will have a stall on the main oval, so if you are attending the show, please call in to say G’day. Various staff and students will be manning the stall across the day from 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Some students will be competing in various events across the day too. The Brunswick Show Society is running an ‘Agricultural Challenge’ on the day. Students are encouraged to enter teams of three to compete. See the attached flyer for details.

Japanese Visit

Over the past year, you will have had snippets of information in relation to the partnership that has been developed with Moka City. A delegation of staff and students from Moka City will arrive next week. Some students and staff will stay at the College from Monday night until Thursday morning. The students will attend Harvey SHS during the daytime and partake in our residential processes outside of this.

The student councillors have been planning activities and events for when they are here. It will be great for our students to interact and socialise with students from another country as we welcome them into our house.

Graduation and Prize Day

A reminder that this significant and special school event is occurring next Friday 3rd November, with the official ceremony commencing at 11.00am. Attached is a copy of the letter sent to Year 12 Students and their parents/carers concerning the day.

All Year 10 and 11 students are expected to attend this event. Attached is information regarding the modified timetable, expectations and uniform requirements for the day to accommodate the Graduation and Prize Ceremony.

School Ties

ALL students (Year 10, 11 and 12) are required to wear a tie to Graduation.  If your child does not have a tie, they can be purchased from Work Clobber in Bunbury.  The tie is part of the compulsory uniform list and is worn throughout their time at the College.

Compass Roll Out

Following previous information in relation to the Compass roll out and bringing parents and students on board, the College is planning for this to occur during Week 5 of this term. Further information with details and instructions will be provided closer to the time.

Stay safe, look after each other and have a great weekend!
