Catholic Identity

Mercy Prayer

We pray for the Sisters of Mercy, who established our school and for the priests who have  served at St. Mary’s.

It is through their vision,  determination and strong faith that we enjoy the benefits of a Catholic Education here in Mooroopna.

We are proud to be a Mercy School, where the values of love and justice are taught and lived every day.

NEW NEWS!

Each year, St. Mary’s School supports the St. Vinnie’s Christmas Giving Tree.

To raise funds for gifts, the Grade Six Social Justice Team will be selling Zooper Doopers each Thursday for the next four weeks at 50 cents each. The money collected will be divided amongst the Social Justice Team members, who will then shop for gifts to go under our tree.

Donations of gifts for the St. Vinnie’s Giving Tree will be called for at the beginning of December so if you are able to support this appeal, please keep this in mind when Christmas shopping!

REMINDER NEWS!

Students from St. Mary’s School Choir have been invited to perform at this year’s Mooroopna Carols in the Park.

Kiwanis are organising the Mooroopna Carols in the Park, 2023, to be held on Saturday, 9th December at 6:30pm. The venue will be the John Gray Oval, Mooroopna.

A note will be sent out to all School Choir members this week, seeking their involvement in this great community event!
