The Gr 3/4's at Camp Kookaburra last week
Our Gr 3/4 students had a wonderful time at Camp Kookaburra, Corop last week. They took part in lots of fun activities including canoeing, flying fox, outdoor games and the giant swing! Most importantly - the food was great! Thank you to the Gr 3/4 staff for organising a great camp! For photos visit our Facebook page.
The children are very much looking forward to tomorrow's colour run. It is proving to be a great money raiser for the school and with the weather looking warm, it is sure to be a great day!
Recently our School Advisory Council discussed the following items: 2024-2026 School Improvement Plan process. The Victorian Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement. Implications for St Mary’s. Child Safe Standard 3. End of Year Picnic and Carols. Please note the AGM is being held on 5th December and any new nominations for parent carer representatives are welcome!
All students are welcome to represent St Mary's at the local service at the Mooroopna Cenotaph on Saturday. The service begins at 10:30am and students are asked to wear full school uniform.
Congratulations to the following students who did particularly well in the recent ICAS competitions, what fantastic results!

Zac Hardisty
Zac is a genuine leader within our student group and his maturity attracts the admiration from others. He takes on responsibility and steps up when the pressure is on. This quality was proven at a recent inter school basketball match where Zac not only got a goal in the final seconds to level the scores, but then went on to (after getting fouled) score a basket after the buzzer to win the game!! Zac you will go down in St Mary's history!
