Do all that you do with love ~

Dear Families,

Here we are in week 5 already - this term seems to be flying by and yet there is still so much to fit in before the end of the year.

Last week was another exciting one as we welcomed the Foundation class of 2024 for their first orientation visit. We look forward to getting to know the youngest members of our community and supporting them and their families as they get ready for the move to 'big school' next year. Many of the children have been regular visitors for a while as they have older siblings so there were lots of familiar faces and I am sure that this will support the new members of our community in settling. It is always an exciting time of year, especially for the staff when they get the tap on the shoulder letting them know where they will be teaching the following year. I am delighted to share that Miss Maddie Foster and Mrs Malini Tyne will be teaching our Foundation classes for 2024. Those of you with children in other year levels will need to wait a while longer to hear who your child may have!

If, for whatever reason, your child is leaving us at the end of the year and does not require a place at the school, could you please let us know. This does not apply to Grade 6 students graduating and heading to high school.

Day for Daniel 2023

We also held our Day for Daniel on Friday to raise money for the Daniel Morecombe Foundation. Through their own personal loss, Daniel's parents have continued to do wonderful work to promote child safety and this day is an opportunity for us to give back to them and support the work they do. Thank you to our generous community for raising just over $260.

School Fees

The School Fee schedule for 2024 will be coming home soon, please keep an eye out for this in your child's school bag. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to call the office.

Prayers for our families

In the midst of our busy lives, it's easy to forget the world beyond our immediate surroundings. Yet, we are all connected, and our hearts should extend to those experiencing turmoil and conflict in the Middle East. There are families within our school community who have been impacted at this terrible time.

The Middle East has been a region deeply affected by conflicts, violence, and uncertainty for far too long. Families, children, and communities are enduring hardships that many of us can only imagine. In this time of need, it is our responsibility to come together as a community to offer our thoughts, prayers, and well-wishes for those who are suffering.

I ask that you keep communities in Israel and Palestine in your prayers.
