As we near the halfway mark of the term we have about 7 weeks to go. Next Monday 6th November will be a pupil free day as the teachers are given an assessment and reporting day as required by our 2022 EBA. Due to low numbers, TeamKids will not be provide onsite supervision on that day. Additionally, we have our only common Personal Professional Day scheduled for Wednesday 22nd November, another pupil free day.

Gym Build - Place to shine

The build is very fast approaching completion and they are currently engaged in landscaping. We have one hold up related to the exterior cladding which is already 10 weeks overdue. The handover date has been moved back to the first or second week of December.

2024 School Start and Finish Times - We are here for the students

In my absence during last term, 3 proposed school start/finish times for 2024 and beyond were developed by a School Council working party who analysed the opinions of parents gathered from a Google form shared with all parent community at the beginning of Term 3. Very shortly these options will be shared with the school community for consideration. All parents are requested to vote on their preferred new start and finish time. I would like to thank the working party for taking everyone’s opinion into consideration when developing these times.

Early Act Presentation - Lead the way

Congratulations to Asha, Sarenya, Xavier, and Sebastian for representing the Kingswood Early Act team at a Noble Park/Dingley Rotary Club dinner on Thursday 2nd Nov. They presented the charitable organisations they have raised money for throughout the year. Feedback from the club was very positive and appreciative of our Early Act member’s effort. Later this term they are organising a PJ Day and an ice-cream day that will raise funds for Kids’ Cancer Project. We are very proud of what our young community minded leaders are doing.
