Teaching and Learning

Term Four is already in full swing, and we have an exciting array of activities and events lined up for the coming weeks. Here are some important dates and highlights:

Year 12 Exams

This Tuesday marked the smooth commencement of the VCAA November exams, starting with the English Exam. As our VCE students embark on this critical phase, we extend our heartfelt wishes for their success during the coming weeks. These exams are a significant milestone in their academic journey.

Year 10 and 11 Exams

Our Year 10 and 11 students are preparing to take their exams, scheduled to begin on Monday 13 November, and conclude on Friday 24 November. In the week leading up to the exams, students will engage in focused revision. It's vital that they dedicate themselves to thorough preparation, as these exams serve as invaluable practice for their future Year 12 exams.

Step-Up to VCE Program

On Monday 27 November, we will kickstart the Step-Up to VCE Program, which is designed to prepare all students who will be undertaking VCE or the VCE VM in 2024. This program will introduce students to their Unit 1 and Unit 3 subjects, providing an initial foundation for their coursework and offering a glimpse of their holiday assignments. To ensure a smooth start, students should have their VCE textbooks ready. Families have received details regarding the VCE Booklist through Compass.

Step-Up to VCE & VCE VM Parent Information Session

This year, we are pleased to announce the return of the Step-Up to VCE Parent Information session for parents of students entering years 11 and 12, whether in the VCE or VCE VM program. Please mark your calendars for the following:

Date: Tuesday 21 November

Time: 6:30pm - 7:30pm

The VCE journey can be a demanding period for both students and parents.
