LMR Cricket - Year 9&10 Boys

Well done to the Intermediate boys cricket team which competed in Donald on Tuesday 24 October. It was a close match in the first round against BSE, winning by a narrow margin of 5 runs. The second match against Swan Hill brought a more comfortable win by 38 runs. Congratulations to Archie Teasdale with 100 runs across two innings and Ky Henson and Rhys Drennan with their economical bowling. Thank you to Mr Kemp and Mr Chakabva for their inspiration and support throughout the day. The team will now progress to the State Quarter Finals in Bendigo on Thursday 2 November. Further information about the State Final will be posted on Compass.

LMR Cricket - Year 7 Boys

The Year 7 boys took to the pitch in the LMR round in Strathfieldsaye on Wednesday 18 October against Catherine McAuley College. In sunny conditions there were plenty of close catches and our boys notched up runs but not quite enough to get them across the line. Keep up the great work boys and we look forward to seeing you continue to improve your skills over the summer!

Thank you to the coaches Mr Chakabva and Mrs Galpin for inspiring and supporting our students.

LMR Junior Basketball

It was a full bus en route to Bendigo for the Loddon Mallee Region basketball event. We had four teams competing; Year 7 girls and boys, and Year 8 girls and boys. All four teams played incredibly well with our Year 7 boys and Year 8 girls undefeated all day. What an amazing feat!

Our Year 7 girls and Year 8 boys gave 100% on the court and walked away with the runners up pennant in their respective age groups.

Thank you to the coaches; Mrs Anderson, Ms Baker, Mr Beck and Mr Dunstan. The Year 7 boys will now progress to the State Finals at MSAC on Monday 13 November. The Year 8 girls will play in the State Finals at MSAC on Tuesday 14 November. Please see Compass for further information regarding these events.
