Classroom Learning with 2A

Students in 2A have been focusing on learning about information texts. They explored how to locate key information by using features such as the contents page, index, titles and labelled diagrams.

Students developed an understanding that information texts present real facts. They then used a range of websites to research and gather information, recording their findings under specific headings including classification, habitat, diet, behaviour, appearance and reproduction.

Students presented their information in the form of a poster and shared their posters and key facts with their peers.
