Cross Country -
GRADES 3 - 6, PARENT HELPERS NEEDED!
As the school gears up for our upcoming cross-country event, we would like your help to help with marshalling on the day.
Grades: 3-6
Date: Tuesday 28th April (Term 2, Week 2)
Time: 8.50am - 11.00 am
Your role as a parent helper will involve guiding and directing students along the designated course, cheering them on, and ensuring their safety throughout the event. Your presence and support will not only contribute to the success of the cross-country event but will also create a positive and encouraging atmosphere for our young athletes. All helpers need to hold a working with children’s card and have completed the school induction. (Our wonderful Ally in the office can assist you)
If you can help out, please email me at kelli.zealley@education.vic.gov.au I will provide further details closer to the date.
RPS ATHLETICS DAY!
I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone for making our Athletics Carnival a resounding success!
My highlight of the day was witnessing the incredible spirit of our school community.
A special shout-out goes to our incredible team of parent volunteers whose support and dedication made this event possible. We honestly couldn't have done it without you!
I also want to recognise our fantastic staff at RPS for their hard work and commitment to ensuring everything ran smoothly.
Thank you to our Grade 3 to 6 students for showcasing great camaraderie, sportsmanship, and friendly competition. Your enthusiasm and teamwork were truly inspiring!
Thank you once again for your support. I'm looking forward to more exciting sporting events in the future!
THE HOUSE WINNER OF THE CARNIVAL WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT MONDAY’S ASSEMBLY.

SRI News
On Monday afternoon between 3.45 and 4.15pm, the Special Religious Instruction (Christianity) program began for 2026! We have 12 students registered, but are happy to accept others who return the permission forms to the office. It was fun to meet some new students and catch up with those we know from last year. We look forward to an enjoyable year together, exploring the beliefs and values of Christianity through Bible stories, games and activities, using material approved by the Education Department. If anyone has any questions about the program, feel free to give me a call.
