Homegroup

This term, our Homegroup program has focused on explicitly teaching the school values of Aspiration, Belonging, Community, Diligence and Excellence. Through a range of structured activities and discussions, students have strengthened their relationships with peers and teachers, supporting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Across Years 7–9, there was a particular focus on Harmony Week, where students explored how diversity enriches our community and contributes to a stronger, more inclusive society.

Year 7

In Year 7, we have focused on setting students up for success in high school by teaching organisational strategies that will enable them to manage their time, materials and learning effectively. We then moved into developing students’ emotional literacy and emotional regulation, equipping them with the skills to recognise, understand and manage their emotions.

Next term, the focus will shift to personal and cultural strengths and the development of Career Action Plans.
