Conngratulations to Maddie! 

She has competed in the u18 State Waterpolo Championships on the Gold Coast, u16 State Waterpolo Championships on the Gold Coast and u16 Australian Youth Waterpolo Championships in Perth.

The girls won Silver in the u18 White division at States (6th in Qld), 5th in the u16 maroon Division at States and 9th in Australia at Nationals.

The girls played in the strongest half of the pools at Nationals and were very competitive. They lost only 3 games (6 goals to mermaids the silver medallists, 2 goals to balmain the bronze medallists (led until last quarter) and 1 goal to Sydney Uni).

The bronze medallists had the same scoreline over AHS as they did with us.

Unfortunately, Maddie's coach was advised 3 days before comp that he could not fly. Would have been interesting to see the results if he had been fit to travel.
