Victorian Education Excellence Awards

The 2025 Victorian Education Excellence Awards (VEEA) are now open for nominations.

These prestigious awards celebrate the dedication and impact of teachers, principals, assistant principals, business managers, and education support staff who help students thrive and reach their potential.

All staff employed in Victorian government schools are eligible to nominate themselves, a colleague, or a team. Please note that nominations for the Outstanding Primary or Secondary Principal categories must come from a peer or colleague.

Award recipients will be announced at a ceremony on Friday, 24 October 2025, with category winners receiving up to $25,000 for professional development. One exceptional winner will also receive the Lindsay Thompson Award for Excellence in Education, along with an additional $20,000 grant.

Nominations close at 11:59 pm on Monday, 26 May 2025.
