Principal Update

A message from the Principal

This week the school Basketball teams had some great competition in both the girl's and boy’s competitions. Year 7 students have had some very exciting and challenging adventures on camp this week. Be prepared for the big stories of amazing feats that they have experienced. 

I was lucky enough to give the school leaders a preview of the new mascots which will soon be revealed with the return of a Balmoral legend. The P&C was lucky enough to receive notification of winning a gaming grant that is going to allow the completion of the new tuckshop. The grand opening will happen once the final fitout is complete. 

I would like to take this opportunity to say a farewell to Vanessa Cash after 40 years in education. The number of lives that she has had an impact on over this time is unimaginable. Shane O’Malley HOD HPE will be replacing Vanessa for the rest of the year. 

It's a short Principal address this week as my last at Balmoral SHS.  Thank you all for my time here and the support you have given me this year.
