Student Wellbeing and Engagement

Over the past two Wednesdays, students at The Heights Campus had the incredible opportunity to take part in the Carlton Football Club’s “Road to Respects” program – an engaging and educational initiative designed to foster respectful relationships, emotional wellbeing, and social awareness among young people.
We were honoured to welcome Georgia and Harriet (AFLW players) from the Carlton Football Club, who joined us to deliver these impactful sessions. Their energy, insight, and connection with our students created a positive and open space for learning and discussion.
Throughout the sessions, students explored:
Understanding and Managing Emotions
Bullying and Help-Seeking Strategies
Being a Buddy and Challenging Stereotypes
Identifying Values and Building Respectful Relationships
The program sparked meaningful conversations and gave students practical tools to support themselves and each other, both in and outside the classroom.
