The Best Habitat in the World

Our students will learn how to explain how natural and human-induced changes in the physical conditions of a habitat affect the survival of organisms. They provide examples of how organisms have changed over time and explain how the structural features and behaviours of organisms enable them to survive.

We have been lucky enough to have Huong Truong, Greens Candidate for Fraser, visit us to discuss policy making on Natural Disasters, including Bush Fires and Floods.

We will also be heading to the Museum later this term to learn more about the environment and how it impacts the organisms within a habitat.

SEL

We will continue to work through the Resilience, Rights, and Respectful Relationships Program (RRRR). This program supports schools and early childhood settings in promoting and modelling respect, positive attitudes, and behaviours. It teaches our children how to build healthy relationships, resilience, and confidence.

Using the RRRR Program and with support from Open Parachute and Zones of Regulations, we aim to help build positive social interactions across our class and the whole school community.
