Grade 3 - 6 House X-Country

Grade 3 to 6 students walked to Orong Park today to compete in the Grade 3 to 6 House Cross Country. All students made their way around either a 2km or 3km course in beautiful sunshine. Hinkler finished in first place, Kingsford finished in second place, Nelson finished in third place, and Monash finished in fourth place. Well done, Hinkler!  Our students with the fastest times will represent TPS at the District Cross Country on Friday, 16 May.

Opening of the Prep Playground

Last week, the whole school gathered for a special assembly to celebrate the official opening of our new Prep playground. School Council President, David Clark, delivered a speech to mark the occasion, and our School Captains had the honour of cutting the very large red ribbon. The event concluded with loud cheers and enthusiastic clapping from all our students!

Anzac Day Assembly

Last Thursday, we held a special assembly to commemorate ANZAC Day. Our guest speaker, Colonel Craig McConaghy, spoke to students about the significance of the day and the importance of remembering those who have served. Our student leaders laid a wreath as a mark of respect, and the Last Post was played to conclude the ceremony.
