Year 12 Celebrations

Our Year 12 cohort had a significant final day today after a week of celebrations and send-offs to end their years of schooling.

Starting with the Valedictory Dinner last Friday night, surrounded by their families and staff, they reflected on their school journey through speeches, photo tributes, music items and receiving a graduation gift from the college. This week they have been honoured and treated in a variety of special ways including:

• the Y11 students preparing a delicious lunch for them
• a moving Blessing Assembly with the Preps presenting prayer cards to each Year 12 student and singing “The Blessing” song over them, as well as baking and giving them each a gift of cookies for their study snacks!
• an abundant morning tea put on by the staff, where they were presented with a card of written affirmations to encourage them as they move forward beyond school
• their final day, which included an entertaining concert they put on for the senior students, a parade through the school in their costumes, followed by food stalls and coffee vans and some fun, wet and messy activities before a final prayer and special ringing of the bell to mark the end of their PVCC days.   

As they spend the next weeks studying for their final exams, we invite you to join us in praying for them as they prepare for life beyond school. We are so proud of them and look forward to staying in touch and seeing what exciting things lie ahead in their futures. And having them join us for school community events and Alumni reunions in years to come!

Summer Uniform

As we enter Term 4, a friendly reminder that students must transition into Summer Uniform for the remainder of the year. We have a  3 week transition period, so if it is a little chilly, you may opt to wear the winter uniform during this time. 

As of Monday 28 October, all students will be expected to be in full Summer Uniform. 

World Teachers Day is coming up!

Save the date 31 October is World Teachers Day and we are celebrating our staff with a lunch!

This is your opportunity to show our thanks to those who work tirelessly to serve, nurture and help grow our children.  Please keep an eye out for emails coming out soon about how you can contribute!
