Spoil the Staff Day
After such a fantastic school concert on Monday and Tuesday nights, the Parents’ Association felt that yesterday was the perfect day to hold our annual “Spoil the Staff Day”. This is a day where we show our appreciation to all the teachers, assistants, and staff of the school and thank them for all their hard work throughout the year.
The PA supplied morning tea and lunch, and gifted extra tea, coffee pods and homemade chocolate chip cookies for the staffroom. I think we broke the record on the number of coffees made yesterday morning, but they were much-needed after all the work for the concerts.
A big thank you to the whole PA committee for organising the event and volunteering their time to help yesterday. It was a great team effort.
Joining the PA
Are you interested in joining the Parent’s Association for 2025? Our AGM is coming up on Wednesday 27th November and it is the perfect time to join the committee. The PA is for parents who would like to contribute more to the school community by organising special events for students, families and staff, and the occasional fund-raising activity. Meetings are held at the school once a month on a Wednesday and are attended by our Principal, Helen Freeman, and Michelle from the school office. The meetings are very constructive and positive, and we all work towards the goal of improving the school.
More details about how to join the committee will be in the next Rocket.
