Congratulations for being selected to the highly sought after role of Term 4 Grade 3/4 sports monitors: Evie, Marlo, Jaxson, Coco, Harry, Polly, Ava, Laila, Mia and Owen. As we enter the final term of the school year, our new monitors have taken on their roles with enthusiasm and dedication, embodying the values of teamwork and perseverance. The Term 3 monitors have handed over the responsibility, and our new representatives are off to a fantastic start.
Each week, they showcase their skills as Self-Managers and Contributors by attending planning meetings, giving up part of their lunchtime to set up sports for their peers, and ensuring everything is packed away at the end of the session. Mr. De Nardis highlights that they consistently uphold the EPS value of Respect by making sure the sports equipment is properly returned to its place in the gym storeroom each week. Our monitors are regularly consulting with their classmates to decide which sports and activities we will be playing next; this term we are learning to play lacrosse and finska - have you played either of these before? If not, the Grade 3/4 students are rapidly becoming experts.
Congratulations to Murphy and Brickwood, our Term 3 3/4 Sport Champions. The trophy is proudly on display in the gym showing our joint champions. Stay tuned for who our Term 4 Winners will be!
