Meet the 2025 Student Leadership Team

What is your leadership portfolio?
College Captain.
What are you most excited about in your leadership portfolio?
I am most excited to try and ignite a new sense of school passion in the 2025 St Patrick’s community, working with the teachers and boys around me to make the next school year one that students never forget. I want to try to create an environment where everyone feels like they are part of something special, and where boys can be their authentic selves, making great memories. Growing up, most of the adults in my life have told me about how much they loved high school and wished they could go back, so I am excited to try and create a year that leaves me and the students with that same sentiment.
What is something about you that others may be surprised to know?
One thing that others may be surprised to know about me, is that one of my favourite hobbies is performing card tricks. Ever since I was young, I enjoyed magic, and I’ve spent a lot of time practicing the art of 'sleight of hand.' I enjoy entertaining friends and family, my favourite trick involving guessing the card someone has secretly chosen, by flicking their card by into the air, and catching it, revealing what they chose.
What would be a good theme song for your life? Why?
A good theme song for my life would be God’s Plan by Drake because it speaks to the idea that everything happens for a reason. In the song, Drake reflects on overcoming challenges, staying true to himself, and making sure the people around him are taken care of. It is a reminder that even through the ups and downs I am on the path that God meant for me to be on. Ultimately it is about trusting the process, and believing that when the time is right everything will fall into place.

What is your leadership portfolio?
College Vice-Captain.
What are you most excited about in your leadership portfolio?
I am excited to be working closer with other students, staff, and members in the Student Leadership Team to create the best possible atmosphere for the boys and community, as well as leaving a legacy on the College.
What is something about you that others may be surprised to know?
When I was a younger, we had 31 pets. It is safe to say we lived in a zoo rather than a house as my mum would say. Now we only have one dog which is our beloved border collie Roman who is a little menace, and two goldfish named Gad and Asher.
What would be a good theme song for your life? Why?
The song Every Giant Will Fall by Rend Collective is a fitting theme song for my life as it talks about how, when we are faced with challenges, we always have God to help us get through the impossible. Along with my family and friends, this song helps me get through difficult times offering a shoulder to lean on in moments of adversity, and who also support me in reaching my goals and aspirations.

What is your leadership portfolio?
College Vice-Captain.
What are you most excited about in your leadership portfolio?
I am most excited to connect with boys throughout the school and to learn what they would like to see from the Student Leadership Team. It is a great opportunity to form relationships with boys across all grades and to be able to understand different perspectives and personalities. I look forward to going through my final year at school alongside my peers and enjoying all the memories that we can forge together.
What is something about you that others may be surprised to know?
Others may be surprised to know that my two brothers and I were born in England. I moved to Australia when I was four years old. I do not remember much about my time in England, but I was lucky enough to return for the first time in April this year.
What would be a good theme song for your life? Why?
The song Good Old Days by Kesha sums up how I try to live my life. The song talks about “these [days] will be the good old days” and it reminds me to always try to enjoy and appreciate everything I do. It sends a great message that we are lucky to be living in some of the best years of our lives and to not always look into the future but to savour living in the present the moment.
