Independence Centre

Highlights

Selamat sore 3/4 families,

This week, the ¾ students have enjoyed building their fluency (efficiency and understanding) as well as problem solving skills when working with operations! A particular favourite was using a range of materials such as balance scales, pattern shape blocks and money, to create balanced equations.

We used our data and market research from our first Guided Inquiry sessions to make informed decisions and design a new community space for the Nunawading community. Stay tuned to read about the proposed plans on Seesaw!

Camp Adanac, is next week and we are looking forward to spending quality time with the whole cohort. Some of the activities we are looking forward to are: flying fox, water slide and canoeing. Packing lists will be on Google Classroom as an additional reminder. We have suggested that students may want to begin packing over the weekend.
