Long Lunch for Mental Health
FN Charles L. King & Co. (Echuca, VIC) will host a Long Lunch for Mental Health on Friday 25 October.
First National members are invited to buy tickets as gifts for any young person (or indeed anybody at all) who you feel could benefit from attending.

Raising funds for breast cancer research
The FN King & Heath (Bairnsdale, VIC) team has turned pink for the month of October, donating $50 to breast cancer research for each appraisal requested. Half way through the month, 101 appraisals have been completed - generating $5,050!
Will Bonnici about to hit the road
William Bonnici of FN Bonnici & Associates (Wodonga, VIC) is teaming up with his friend Carey to take a trusty Corolla Shitbox "Maureen" all the way to Townsville for the 2024 Shitbox Rally.
They are super pumped to be doing this together and welcome the support from family, friends and FN colleagues as they raise funds to support the research into cancer eradication!
Shitbox Rally is the largest community lead fundraiser for Cancer Council in Australia and is now in its 14th year. Part of the participation is that all teams have to raise a minimum of $5,000 but most teams raise well above this amount as you can see with the Spring 2024 rally target set at $2,000,000 plus.
David Doherty & David Small ride in Postie Bike Dash again
As ardent supporters of Variety’s Postie Bike Dash, David Doherty of FN Tamworth (NSW) will ride his 11th Postie Bike Dash as ‘David Red Dog Doherty’ with the sponsorship of First National Foundation. David Small of FN Coffs Harbour is also riding again, as part of the FN Wascally Wabbits team.
The Variety Postie Bike Dash is a six-day ride throughout NSW on Postie Bikes. Riders go off the beaten track, travelling through the gorgeous Australian bush and countryside, stopping in at rural towns and schools along the way for a tasty feast and entertainment. With each stop, Variety makes a donation in support of kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability.
Variety’s Postie Bike Dash has enjoyed the sponsorship of FN Foundation for many years now, but a little known fact is that riders must pay their own accommodation and fuel costs, plus take on the risks of a 1,500 km ride on classic Australia Post motor bikes.
