Students in Year 6 celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation yesterday evening. It was a beautiful ceremony that was celebrated by Bishop Richard Umbers. Confirmation continues the initiation process, a perfecting and completing of Baptism. The Holy Spirit empowers us to be the best Christians we can be. Thank you to all those who helped in the preparation of the students for this special occasion.
Last week, the Year 6 students participated in a retreat day to prepare for their upcoming Confirmation. The day was filled with reflection and spiritual growth as they explored the story of Pentecost, participated in Reconciliation, and spent time in Adoration.
With the start of the new term, we start a new roster of Class Mass. All family members are welcome to join us for the following dates to celebrate Mass together. Morning tea will follow Mass in the school hall.
