AGTV-BJR Germany Exchange

I came to Australia not expecting much as I signed up for the student exchange on a whim. Little did I know, I would come to enjoy my stay here much more than I expected! 

From the day that I arrived, I have been welcomed by my exchange family whole heartedly and have had the pleasure of living with them for the past 6 weeks. 

During my stay here, I have been given the opportunity of experiencing a new school system firsthand, traveling a bit through Australia, and trying some of the local cuisine. What I like most about the school here is the ability to pick most of your subjects, which we don't have in Germany. I also enjoy having longer lessons instead of many short ones every day. 

Outside of school, I especially have been enjoying the nice warm weather although it’s rather inconsistent. I also enjoyed the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show quite a lot, which was quite interesting to look at as we don't have many similar events in Germany that are comparable. 

Overall, I would recommend an exchange like this or a similar one to everyone that wants to experience something new!
