VSC Brass Soiree’ Tuesday March 31st  

Vermont Brass teachers Jim McGuffie and Sally Barkla hosted The Term 1 Brass Soiree which showcased our Trumpets, French Horns, Euphoniums, Trombones and Tuba students in front of a warm and supportive audience. Well done to Aarav, Ethan, Winston and Rohan on their version of ‘The Green Phantom of the Sleeves’ a medley of 2 well known classics.  Special mention to Theo on French Horn, whose ‘Man from Snowy River’ was a highlight. Also, Michael M’s performance of his Stairway to the Stars, using Cup mute really added to the variety of the night.  

Thank you to all the students for taking the time and effort to prepare their pieces to performance standard, and for sharing their music with family and friends.
