All school uniforms must be ordered through:

We have a number of children that are missing out on their lunch orders due to user error. Please make sure you select the correct date and move through each step to avoid your child missing out on their lunch order. You can check your receipt to confirm that you've completed the order correctly.

Lunch orders are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The online ordering process is up and running.

Please log in to Qkr! and follow the steps.

Lunch orders are all on line. Orders must be placed by 8:30 a.m.

SCHOOL CROSSING & ROAD SAFETY VIDEO

As we start a new school year, we thought it might be a good time to remind all parents and students about the parking and school crossings surrounding your busy school.

Glen Eira Council has created a short, animated video which was shared with you all last year. It is a fabulous two-and-half minute video that explains parking signs, how the school crossing operates and aims to promote safety surrounding your schools. It encourages students to walk or ride to school, too, even if only from a few blocks away, in order to help ease traffic congestion, improve healthy activity and to help the environment.

State Tryouts for Basketball, Cricket, Soccer, Netball and Australian Rules Football

Dear Parents & Carers:

School Sport Victoria State Team Trial Registrations are open for:

Australian Football 12 Years and Under Boys
Basketball 12 Years and Under Girls
Basketball 12 Years and Under Boys
Cricket 12 Years and Under Boys
Football (Soccer) 12 Years and Under Boys
Netball 12 Years and Under Girls

If you wish to register your child for the opportunity to represent the State in the above sports you will need to be aware of the following criteria:

This is NOT a “come and try” day
Your child must be currently playing in a high level representative team, NOT in a domestic team AND
You must contact me at school if you wish to be considered to trial.
There is a cost to register and trials are during school time, which requires parent/carer transport to and from the trial.

CAMPS, SPORTS & EXCURSION FUND

(CSEF)

If you are new to Valkstone Primary School (or an existing family with a new sibling starting at Valkstone ) and you are the holder of a Health Care Card, you may be eligible for CSEF.

This is an annual payment, payable to the school to be used towards camps, sports or excursion costs for eligible students.

Card holders with NEW prep students are also eligible for some school uniform. Please bring your Health care card to the office and complete an eligibility form.

If you need a new form please contact the office and we will send one home.
