Our School Review: Your Chance to Help Shape Our School's Future

As we move into the second half of Term 1, I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you more important information about our upcoming four-yearly review process. This comprehensive review is a vital part of our school's continuous improvement journey, allowing us to reflect on our achievements, identify areas for growth and set meaningful goals for the future.

Student Voice Matters

Beginning in Week 6 (week starting 4th March), our school leadership team will begin running small student focus groups. These sessions are designed to gather valuable feedback from our students about school highlights, what is working well and areas they believe could be improved. We believe that student voice is crucial to this process - after all, their experiences and perspectives provide us with unique insights that can only come from those at the heart of our school community.

Family Feedback - We Need Your Input

In Week 7 (week beginning 11th March), we will be sending out an online survey to all families. Your responses will be instrumental in identifying the highlights of the past four years and helping us pinpoint areas for improvement at our school. The survey will be sent out via Compass and will also be promoted through our social media pages to ensure maximum participation. I encourage all families to take the time to complete this survey, as your feedback is invaluable to us.

What Happens Next?

Once feedback has been received from all stakeholders (staff, students and families), it will be carefully collated and analysed. This comprehensive data will then be used to guide our review process in Term 2, helping us to develop strategic plans that address identified needs while building on our strengths.

The review process is not just about meeting regulatory requirements - it's an opportunity for genuine reflection and growth. By participating, you're helping to shape the direction of our school for the next four years and beyond.
