From the Leadership Team

School Captain and Community Leader Installation 

Late last year, our children and staff members elected our School Captains and Community Leaders for 2025. During our Week 5 Chapel, Wednesday 26 February, these leaders will be installed and presented with their leadership badges. All children in our Senior class exhibit leadership skills and take on roles of leading and caring throughout the school. Therefore, we also present all Senior children with their community badges, acknowledging and installing all of them as leaders of our school. 

Mid-Year Enrolments 

Did you know that we now have a mid-year Reception intake? Children who turn 5 years of age from October to April are eligible to be admitted in Term One.  Children who turn 5 years of age in from May to October are eligible to be admitted in Term Three. Dependent on the availability of places, parents and caregivers can also choose to enrol their child in a later intake. 

We are now enrolling for 2026 beginning and mid-year, and for 2027 beginning of year. (Note that we do have a few spots left for mid-year 2025). If you have a child for whom you have not year completed enrolment paperwork, please contact our registrar, Laura Azzopardi, as soon as possible: lazzopardi@stpaulba.sa.edu.au. Siblings receive priority enrolment, however we need the enrolment form to ensure they are included in numbers and don’t miss out. 

Parent Information Night 

Thank you to those of you who were able to attend last night’s sessions, or intend to attend tonight’s sessions. With the heat, we cancelled our combined sessions in the middle of the evening, where the leadership team would usually share information about the year. We will communicate this information through the coming editions of Inspire, so please be sure to keep reading this publication as an important source of up-to-date school information.
